Gregory W. Hammonds, CPALeading Partner

Greg Hammonds, managing partner for the firm since 2006, has more than 30 years in public accounting with a focus on tax and business consulting. As a lifetime learner, Greg enjoys pursuing knowledge and thinking strategically with his clients to solve complex problems. He also applies that skill to ensure that Whaley Hammonds is well positioned to thrive in an ever changing professional environment.

Greg also heads up three of the firm’s niche service groups: Film and Entertainment, Chiropractic Services, and Estates and Trusts. While these three areas may seem quite diverse, they all share a common theme of careful planning and creative thinking to maximize financial results.

Greg spent 11 years as a member of the board of directors for the Henry County Chamber of Commerce including a year as chairman of the board. He recently completed a five-year term on the board of CPAmerica where he also served as chairman. He currently serves on the board of directors of First National Bank of Griffin, a position he has held since 2004.
